Lorna Luxe has delivered a heartbreaking update that has left fans deeply concerned, revealing that her husband, John Andrews, is now “extremely unwell” as he continues his battle with terminal cancer.

The influencer, 43, told her followers she has been forced to step back from public commitments — including a charity event close to her heart — because she cannot be away from John at this critical time.

“This Isn’t the Right Time to Leave Him”

Lorna was due to attend a charity fundraiser this weekend in Manchester in support of Maggie’s, but announced with visible emotion that the event has been postponed.

“It is with a very heavy heart that I have to share this,” she wrote. “John is currently extremely unwell, and right now it isn’t the right time for me to be away from his side.”

Calling it an “incredibly difficult decision,” Lorna apologised to supporters, stressing that it was the only choice she could make.

A Relentless Illness

John, who is 21 years older than Lorna, was diagnosed with stage four adrenal cancer in April 2023. Although he briefly went into remission later that year, the cancer returned in May 2024 and spread to his brain.

Just weeks ago, Lorna told her 1.6 million followers that treatment was no longer an option.

Before Christmas, John was rushed to hospital suffering from organ failure linked to chemotherapy complications and later developed sepsis — a moment Lorna described as being told to “prepare for the worst.”

Despite everything, she held onto hope that he would make it home for the festive season — and he did.

“We Know We’re on a Timeline”

Speaking previously about the uncertainty they face, Lorna admitted the reality has been terrifying.

“We don’t know how long we’ve got,” she said. “We’re living at a million miles an hour because we know we’re on a timeline.”

She has also revealed that while they have had to put financial plans in place following John’s hospital admission, one subject remains completely off-limits — funeral arrangements.

An Outpouring of Support

Fans and followers have flooded Lorna’s social media with messages of love and strength, praising her honesty and devotion. She thanked her community for “keeping us going” during what she described as the most painful chapter of her life.

The postponed charity event will be rescheduled, with all ticket sales still set to benefit Maggie’s Cancer Care and The Meath Epilepsy Charity.
