Alison Hammond had fans cheering as she strutted through The Great British Bake Off tent, proudly showing off her incredible 11-stone weight loss — moments after her co-host Noel Fielding jokingly called her a “tart.”
In a teaser clip for the upcoming episode, the 50-year-old This Morning favourite could be seen glowing with confidence in a floaty floral dress, prompting Noel to tell the contestants they’d be tackling a pastry tart challenge. Ever the mischief-maker, he teased, “If any of you have forgotten what a visually stunning sculpted tart looks like, here’s Alison with a quick reminder.”

The comment sent the tent into laughter as Alison playfully sashayed like a supermodel down the Bake Off “runway,” spinning on her heels and showing off her new figure. Noel quickly added, “I’m a bit worried that joke might be sexist, so we’ll flip it.” Alison fired back the same line — this time with Noel strutting dramatically — while Dame Prue Leith joined in for a giggle.
Behind the laughter lies a serious triumph. Alison has shed more than 11 stone after completely overhauling her lifestyle. She revealed she turned to regular exercise with a personal trainer, added yoga and walking into her routine, and changed her diet after discovering she was pre-diabetic — a condition that once scared her mother, Maria, who had Type 2 diabetes.

“For me, as soon as I hear any scare story, I get frightened,” she admitted. “When I found out I was pre-diabetic, I thought, ‘I have to be an adult about this.’ The sweets had to stop — and the fatty foods.”
Now, Alison proudly says she’s no longer pre-diabetic and is enjoying her newfound health. “I love my new shape,” she said. “Although I still have areas I’m conscious of, it’s great being able to wear things I’d never have been able to before. I mean, look at me — I’m a bombshell.”
