Danniella Westbrook has revealed the dramatic results of her latest round of reconstructive surgery, leaving fans stunned by her radically altered appearance.
The EastEnders legend, 52, has once again gone under the knife in Dubai as part of her long and painful journey to rebuild her face after years of drug addiction and multiple botched procedures. Fresh images show the former soap star looking almost unrecognisable as she left hospital heavily bandaged, visibly bruised and confined to a wheelchair.
Danniella, best known for playing Sam Mitchell on EastEnders, underwent an extensive full face, neck and brow lift, alongside further lip and nose reconstruction. The procedures come months after a major nose operation last June, which she previously revealed was necessary after her septum was destroyed during her cocaine addiction.
Photographed shortly before surgery, the mum-of-two appeared anxious as she waited in a hospital gown to be taken into theatre. Several hours later, she was seen again with her head wrapped in thick bandages, her face markedly swollen as she was escorted from the clinic.
The surgery was carried out by her long-time surgeon Dr Parviz Sadigh, whom Danniella has repeatedly praised for helping her regain confidence after years of trauma. In an emotional Instagram post shared last month, she thanked him for his dedication, writing that every day she continues to “grow and glow” and eagerly counted down to February for her next operation.
Last summer, Danniella openly admitted she was preparing for a lengthy procedure to finally rebuild her face after years of damage. Sharing a photo from her hospital bed at the time, she told fans it was a “big day” that would allow her to heal and eventually return to work.
Danniella was just 16 when she shot to fame on EastEnders, but her turbulent battle with addiction later forced her away from the show. She last appeared on television in 2016 on Celebrity Big Brother, where she finished in third place. Since then, her life has been marked by repeated health scares, setbacks and an ongoing fight to reclaim her life and career.
