Katie Price is reportedly facing fresh doubts about her whirlwind marriage to Lee Andrews after a shocking claim emerged that she secretly spoke with his ex-fiancée — and admitted she wasn’t sure what to believe about her new husband.
The former glamour model stunned fans earlier this year when she married businessman Lee just days after meeting him in person for the first time. The pair are also believed to have made their union legally binding again in a second ceremony shortly after their quick wedding.
But controversy surrounding Lee has continued to grow, with his ex-fiancée Alana Percival speaking out publicly and accusing him of deception. According to Alana, she recently had a private phone conversation with Katie that revealed the reality star may have deeper concerns about the relationship than she has publicly admitted.
Alana told MailOnline that Katie allegedly reached out through a mutual contact before the pair spoke directly. During that conversation, Alana claims Katie confessed that she was struggling to make sense of the situation. She recalled Katie saying, “I don’t know what to believe.”
Alana said she responded bluntly, insisting the situation was “black and white” and offering to show Katie evidence to back up her claims. She told the outlet she warned Katie that Lee could end up hurting her. According to Alana, she told Katie he was “going to break her down and ruin her” and alleged that he had scammed multiple people and did not have the wealth he claims.
She added that Lee had portrayed her as a “crazy ex” but said she could understand why Katie might feel confused. Alana claimed Katie had been pulled into what she described as “lies” and suggested the reality star may now feel unable to back down publicly.
“I genuinely am worried for her,” Alana said, adding that she believes Katie may simply not want to appear foolish after the whirlwind romance and marriage.
The allegations come after Alana also claimed Lee proposed to her in the exact same way he later proposed to Katie — just four months before the reality star walked down the aisle.
Despite the ongoing drama, Katie has previously fired back fiercely at Lee’s ex online. In a furious social media post, she accused Alana of being bitter and rejected, writing that she knew the truth and was proud to be the woman Lee had chosen.
Katie wrote that Alana should “go live your life little girl” and insisted she was the “real woman he deserves.” She also claimed the couple were building an empire together and even declared she would be having Lee’s child.
In another recent interview, Katie continued to defend her husband, saying she was confident in her choices and insisting she had not fallen for a conman.
“I’m not stupid,” she said. “I’ve learned now that I don’t need a man. I always used to need a man in my life whereas now I don’t need a man, I just want one. So yes, I can reassure everyone at home that I haven’t gone for a con man. I haven’t gone for a scammer. There was no love bombing.”
