WILL DRISCOLL’S LIES CRUMBLE: THE HEART-STOPPING CORONATION STREET CLIFFHANGER THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING

Coronation Street has aired a devastating cliffhanger for Will Driscoll after the dramatic events of the latest episode, in which evil Megan Walsh was finally exposed and arrested for grooming him.

The episode saw Eva Price tell her partner Ben that she’d learned about the grooming, and while he struggled to believe it at first, the truth soon settled in.

Ben spoke to Will in the park and he stuck to the pre-prepared story about him having made an advance on her that she rejected. But Ben joined Eva, Toyah and the Battersby sisters in reporting her to the police.

Kit Green turned up at the school to arrest her before she could flee Weatherfield with Will in tow, but the aftermath of the arrest made it clear that it won’t be a steady path towards healing and recovery.

Will told Maggie that he would “never forgive” his family, and when Kit came to see the family later on, the tense mood soon descended into arguments.

“It’s your fault Megan interfered with him in the first place”, Maggie rudely told Eva.

Eva clapped back by saying that Maggie was the one who paid Megan to stick around and raised the money to do so. “Trying to buy people’s affections, as per,” she quipped. “You bought your way into this house. You think that money can fix everything and it can’t.”

When Ollie tried to calm things down, Ben responded with a nasty accusation: “You seem very keen to shut this down. Did you have any clue to what was going on? I know what boys are like, maybe he wanted to impress his big brother.”

As the four of them all ranted and raved at each other, the episode ended a shot of Will crying on the stairs alone.

Can the film patch up the damage Megan has caused, and can Will come to understand the reality of what happened to him?
