Good Morning Britain has been hit by a fresh wave of backlash — with furious viewers demanding a shake-up after branding presenters Ranvir Singh and Kate Garraway “ruinous” during a chaotic live broadcast.
The ITV morning show, long fronted by familiar faces, came under fire after Friday’s episode left audiences increasingly irritated — not by the topics, but by how they were delivered.

Viewers quickly flooded social media, with many accusing Ranvir, 48, of repeatedly interrupting both co-host Kate Garraway, 58, and guests mid-conversation. Despite both presenters boasting years of experience — Kate having spent a decade on GMTV before joining GMB in 2014, and Ranvir arriving the same year after her Daybreak stint — fans claimed the on-screen dynamic simply wasn’t working.
One furious viewer didn’t hold back, writing that Ranvir and Kate were useless and urging producers to get them off air and bring in some decent presenters. Another complained it was their first time tuning in for a while, only to find that the presenter alongside Kate kept interrupting people while they were making their point.
The criticism didn’t stop there. Others described the show as “all shouting and interrupting,” while one particularly harsh comment accused Ranvir of being “extremely snarky” toward a guest because she couldn’t follow the discussion.

But perhaps the most cutting critique came from viewers pointing to a lack of chemistry between the two hosts. One wrote that the programme was ruined because Kate often made interesting points — only for Ranvir to talk over her loudly, adding that the chemistry simply wasn’t working and suggesting the show should “lose Ranvir” as she wasn’t a natural like Kate.
And this isn’t the first time the duo have sparked outrage.
Earlier this month, both presenters were slammed for spoiling the result of Channel 4’s controversial gameshow Handcuffed — without any warning to viewers.
The show, which saw unlikely duos from completely different backgrounds physically chained together in a bid to win £100,000, had only just aired its finale. But GMB casually revealed the winners and even played a clip of their victory — leaving fans who hadn’t caught up fuming.
One viewer sarcastically thanked the programme for giving away the result at the top of the show with no warning, while another simply wrote “Thank you for that spoiler!” Others pointed out it had only been a couple of days since the finale aired, with many saying the lack of a spoiler alert had completely ruined the experience.
As backlash continues to build, questions are now being raised about whether the long-running morning show needs a reset — or whether viewers have simply had enough of the interruptions, the tension… and the noise.
