Gemma Collins has poured her heart out in a touching tribute to her fiancé Rami Hawash, thanking him for being her unwavering support after her unexpected elimination from I’m A Celebrity All Stars. In a heartfelt Instagram post, the TOWIE star, 45, revealed how she could never have made it through the show without him by her side.
In a dramatic twist during Monday’s episode, Gemma was sent home alongside David Haye in a double exit, with David opting to take Gemma with him when given the choice. For Gemma, this exit marked a redemption arc after her controversial departure from the show back in 2014, just 72 hours into the competition.
Taking to Instagram, Gemma shared a candid, loved-up photo with her fiancé Rami, 50, thanking him for giving her the “love and encouragement” she needed to return to the jungle this time around. She wrote, “Rami, the love of my life… thank you for being my calm in the chaos and my strength when I needed it most.”
As she reflected on the journey, she added, “Every step leading up to the jungle felt easier because you were right there beside me, believing in me even on the days I doubted myself. Your support has been my anchor, my fire, and my safe place all at once. I couldn’t have done any of it without you… and I’ll never stop being grateful for a love like ours.”
Ending the post with an emotional promise, Gemma declared, “I had the right support this time round and the love and encouragement I CANT WAIT TO MARRY YOU
.”
Despite her earlier plans for three weddings, Gemma stunned her campmates with news that she and Rami are now aiming for a whopping four weddings. Yes, you read that right—four!
Gemma’s wedding plans have always been an ambitious affair, and this time is no different. When asked about their future nuptials, she revealed that while they don’t have a set date yet, the couple is considering multiple locations, including the stunning Sicilian hilltop town of Taormina and the iconic Claridge’s in London. However, she admitted that managing a wedding abroad with Rami’s family living overseas poses a challenge.
Amidst the humor and playful banter in camp, Adam Thomas joked, “So you could have four weddings?” to which Gemma responded, “I don’t know, I’m not sure how I’m going to make it all work!”
Gemma and Rami’s love story has certainly had its ups and downs. They began dating in 2011, but after a brief engagement, they split. Following a tumultuous period with TOWIE co-star James ‘Arg’ Argent, Gemma rekindled her romance with Rami in 2020.
The couple became engaged again in 2021, and in February 2024, Rami surprised Gemma with a third proposal during a romantic getaway in the Maldives. With petals scattered across the beach and the words “Will you marry me?” lit up on the sand, Gemma was taken completely by surprise. “I had no idea,” she admitted, “I didn’t even put on makeup, but I wouldn’t change a thing.”
Gemma has made no secret of her desire to have not one, not two, but three extravagant weddings, with plans for a stunning woodland-themed ceremony and a glamorous Italian celebration. She’s also teased that her bridal look will be nothing short of iconic, drawing inspiration from Lady Gaga’s House of Gucci gown and even considering a dramatic ensemble similar to Victoria Beckham’s wedding day style.
But that’s not all—Gemma’s wedding plans are set to be a true showstopper, with DJ Fat Tony performing and her old TOWIE pals making the guest list. “There’s no bad blood,” she added.
Gemma also revealed that her two best friends, John and Edward Grimes—better known as Jedward—will walk her down the aisle. “They’re like family to me,” she said.
Rami is equally on board with the grand wedding plans. “Jedward are like our kids and they’re so good to Tristan,” he said. “They’re part of our family now.”
Despite all the wedding excitement, Gemma is determined to top Jeff Bezos’ $50 million wedding. “It’s definitely got my own spin on it,” she teased. “People will be shocked—this is the real Gemma Collins, not the GC.”
Gemma’s wedding journey will be documented in her new reality show, Gemma Collins: Four Weddings And A Baby, which promises to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at her life as she prepares for marriage and motherhood.
After addressing the I’m A Celeb “bullying” drama involving David Haye and Adam Thomas, Gemma made it clear that she would always protect her friends. “Loyalty isn’t loud, it’s solid. It’s showing up, backing them in rooms they’re not in, and keeping their name sparkling clean like a diamond under pressure.”
As her I’m A Celeb journey comes to an end, Gemma is more determined than ever to move forward with Rami and their exciting future together. The couple’s love story continues to unfold, and if Gemma’s plans are anything to go by, we can expect plenty more drama, weddings, and celebrations to come. Stay tuned, the GC is just getting started!
