Coronation Street legend Michael Le Vell was spotted enjoying a few pints at a pub in Sale the day before his wedding to Louise Gibbons.
Michael Le Vell has been in Coronation Street for over 42 years. He made his first appearance on the show in October 1983 and has played the iconic character Kevin Webster ever since.
His tenure spans multiple decades, making him one of the longest-serving actors on the long-running ITV soap opera. His character has been through a lot during his time in Weatherfield, surviving various tragedies and affairs.
Some of Kevin’s biggest storylines include his affair with Molly Dobbs who gave birth to their son Jack before her tragic death, his relationship with Sally Webster coming to an end, and his heartbreaking prostate cancer diagnosis.
Over recent months, Kevin was shocked to learn that his partner Abi Franklin was having a sordid affair with his younger brother Carl Webster. What followed was even more chaos, as Carl soon showed his true colours leaving Abi desperate to find a way out of their relationship.
Meanwhile, Debbie Webster learned she has early onset dementia, and even took the wrap for Carl’s involvement in the death of Billy Mayhew in the epic Corriedale crash.
Away from the cobbles of Weatherfield, Michael keeps his private life just that, but has been with soon-to-be wife Louise Gibbons from 2014.
Louise has remained a key source of support for the actor through periods in his life that included checking into a rehab facility in 2014, and in 2017 the couple got engaged.
The pair are now set to get married on Saturday (May 30) in an intimate ceremony. The day before they say their vows, Michael was spotted enjoying the sunshine ahead of his big day.
Sporting a relaxed look with a black t-shirt and beige shorts, Michael was seen enjoying a few pints with some friends outside of the The Brook pub in Sale, Greater Manchester.
He was pictured with his legs up relaxing while taking a phone call, before giving the photographers a thumbs up as he left in the passenger seat of a car, after walking away from the pub with a gift bag in hand.
Michael and Louise do not have any children together, but Michael who was previously married for 25 years to actress Janette Beverley share two children.
