Junior Andre, 20, son of Katie Price and Peter Andre, has revealed the hard graft behind his music career, shutting down critics who’ve labeled him a “nepo baby.” In a candid interview, the young star explained he secretly worked nights on the London Underground to fund his passion for music — insisting he never wanted to rely on his famous parents’ fortune.
Sharing his story, Junior said: “My dad was brought up very strict, so regardless of anything he says, ‘You’ve got to work, son.’ As much as he’s there for me, and my mum is there for me, I don’t want handouts. I need to learn life the proper way. So when things get hard, instead of sitting there doing nothing, I threw myself in the deep end, but I never gave up on my dream.”
Before he was balancing music, Junior labored full-time for Transport for London, lifting heavy metals, filing, painting, and cutting — all while managing disagreements with his record label. “It made me understand the value of money and grafting,” he added. “People say, ‘You’ve never done a hard day’s work in your life,’ and I’m like, ‘I have!’”
Junior’s sister, Princess Andre, praised his determination: “So proud of Junior. His last two singles hit number one, and while sorting out label issues, he worked nights and a full-time job to be fully self-sufficient. I’m super proud of him.”
The couple, Junior and his girlfriend Jasmine, also opened up about their future plans: “We’re on the same page. Having a child? That’s a full human. We’ll know when the time is right,” they shared.
Junior’s determination highlights a refreshing message in a celebrity-driven world: talent, grit, and ambition can shine through even amidst fame and legacy. His story proves that success isn’t handed down — it’s earned.
