US-UK TENSIONS ESCALATE: US VICE PRESIDENT JD VANCE FIERCELY CRITICIZES BRITISH IMMIGRATION POLICY FOLLOWING THE HENRY NOWAK CASE
The brutal murder of 18-year-old Henry Nowak in the United Kingdom has officially become a diplomatic bombshell across the Atlantic. In a rare and highly controversial move, top US officials—including Vice President JD Vance and the State Department—have launched direct verbal attacks on the UK’s justice system and immigration policies.
This event marks an unprecedented level of American intervention in sensitive British internal affairs, threatening to cause a severe rift in the traditional alliance between the two nations.

Outrage from the United States
The death of Henry Nowak is fueling a wave of fury, not only due to the savage nature of the attack—the victim was stabbed five times—but also because of the shocking response from local authorities. Reports indicate that while Nowak lay dying in handcuffs, the Sikh suspect, Vikram Digwa, was treated by police as if he were the victim.
The incident has triggered widespread allegations of “two-tier policing” in the UK, a system where law enforcement is perceived to show bias based on race and religion.
The US State Department, under the leadership of Marco Rubio, issued a scathing statement, calling the Nowak case a “symptom of civilizational decline” and urging the Western world to eradicate this issue of two-tier policing.
Even more severe was a politically explosive declaration from US Vice President JD Vance. He asserted that Henry Nowak would still be alive today if “the last few generations of European elites hadn’t championed a self-deluded politics and a mass invasion of migrants, many of whom despise the West and the people who love it”.
The UK Government’s Counter-Response
These remarks from US officials immediately drew a sharp response from the British Prime Minister’s Office (10 Downing Street). The government of Prime Minister Keir Starmer released a statement firing back, accusing these actions of “interfering in democracy” and “inciting division on British streets”.
Downing Street also invoked the wishes of the Nowak family, emphasizing that the grieving relatives do not want their son’s death to be exploited to sow hatred and division. The government called on politicians to unite the country “even in the worst of circumstances”.
However, this plea from the government is being met with skepticism by the British public. Many commentators and citizens have pointed out the hypocrisy of the political elite. They recalled that just a few years ago, during the George Floyd case in the US, Keir Starmer himself and numerous British politicians “took the knee” and called for radical change. Yet, when a similar tragedy occurs right at home to a white youth, the administration’s response has been to try and suppress debates regarding the system’s fairness.
Perspectives from Former British Politicians
In an interview on GB News, former British Member of Parliament Douglas Carswell—who currently serves as the President of the Mississippi Center for Public Policy—voiced strong support for Vice President JD Vance’s stance.
Carswell stated that Vance had hit the “bullseye” of the issue. He criticized extreme multicultural ideology for creating absurd legal exemptions, such as allowing Sikhs to carry knives or ride without helmets. According to him, these cultural concessions have resulted in British citizens no longer being treated equally under the law, arguing that the root cause of the current chaos is mass immigration and cultural relativism.
