Washington D.C. – Radical Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is facing serious legal heat after Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem publicly stated that it would be “entirely appropriate” for the Department of Justice to investigate the socialist congresswoman for allegedly advising illegal immigrants on how to evade Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
During a town hall in Jackson Heights, Queens, Ocasio-Cortez hosted a webinar titled “Know Your Rights With ICE,” where she instructed illegal immigrants not to open the door for agents without a judicial warrant and provided guidance on how to handle encounters. She also offered assistance in connecting them with free legal help to avoid deportation. When Border Czar Tom Homan announced he was referring her actions to the DOJ, Ocasio-Cortez defiantly responded: “Come for me. Do I look like I care?”
Secretary Noem did not hold back when asked about Ocasio-Cortez’s comments on Fox News with Sean Hannity: “I think the Department of Justice absolutely should look into this situation. We’ve seen not just those that serve in public office be willing to break the law to facilitate the invasion that has happened and allow criminals to stay here… It’s time that we stand for what’s right.”
Noem added that Democrats are “using fear to control people” and “standing alongside known terrorists in order to endanger our future.” Homan reinforced the concern, noting that some individuals Ocasio-Cortez is advising could include convicted rapists or child sex offenders still being sought in New York.
This is not protected speech — it is potential aiding and abetting of illegal activity. President Donald J. Trump has made it crystal clear: America will enforce its immigration laws, deport criminal illegal aliens, and put the safety of American citizens first. Radical Democrats like Ocasio-Cortez, who openly coach people on how to thwart federal law enforcement, are crossing a dangerous line.
For years, Ocasio-Cortez and her socialist allies have pushed open-border extremism, defund-the-police rhetoric, and policies that prioritize illegal aliens over law-abiding Americans. Now, with a serious federal investigation looming, the consequences of that radical agenda are coming home to roost.
