Coronation Street‘s Tracy Barlow gets hot and heavy with Tyrone Dobbs’s dad Ross Wilkes next week, leading Cassie Plummer to dish out a stern warning. Will Tracy pay any attention – or go full steam ahead with her new man?
At the Rovers, Tracy and Ross cosy up to one another, before Cassie discovers that the pair spent the night together. Ross eventually leaves the pub, which gives Cassie time to warn Tracy that her new fling isn’t all he claims to be. But stubborn Tracy isn’t bothered by Cassie’s words of caution…
“Tracy is smitten with Ross,” explains our Weatherfield source. “The way she looks at him says it all!
“Cassie is determined to put a stop to the romance, but Tracy isn’t up for taking advice, let alone from her former love rival. Will she regret not listening to Cassie?”
The week begins with Tyrone suffering a back injury while golfing with his dad. Meanwhile, Bernie Winter-Alahan realises that Cassie is unsettled whenever Ross is around.
Concerned, Bernie sits down with Cassie at the café, where the switch operator explains that she’s being blackmailed. Bernie asserts that Cassie needs to face up to her tormentor, but will she agree?
Later in the week, Ross spells out to Cassie that he’s determined to build a connection with Tyrone.
“Ross isn’t one to back down,” continues our insider. “In Dev’s shop, he makes it clear that he wants to have a relationship with Tyrone. It’s the last thing that Cassie wants to hear, but what can she do to stop it?”
Next, Tyrone susses out that something unusual is going on between Cassie and Steve McDonald, which leads him to a shocking discovery. What does Tyrone uncover?
On the same day, Cassie realises that Ross and Tracy have taken things to the next level, so she reveals her reservations about Tyrone’s dad.
Regardless, Tracy continues to woo Ross, even snogging him on the Street, which Cassie spies from afar. However, Tracy’s bubble is burst when Cassie later reveals that she spotted Ross with a bunch of flowers…
Elsewhere, Tyrone and Hope Dobbs explain to Ross that Tracy is bad news, but their heads-up doesn’t land as they hope. Ross continues to pursue Tracy, but soon finds her pushing him away thanks to Cassie’s intel about the bouquet
After trying to explain himself, Ross takes a step back from Tracy so that he can focus on Tyrone. However, Ross is still furious with Cassie for intervening in his romance, and heads to No.9 for a word.
Later, Cassie resolves to tell Steve the whole truth, having been shoved out of the house by Tyrone after his discovery. What does Cassie have to get off her chest?
