After 15 years fronting her self-titled ITV daytime programme, Lorraine Kelly is reportedly preparing to bid farewell when her contract ends next year.
The 65-year-old presenter, a fixture of British television for over four decades, is said to have made up her mind following sweeping cuts to ITV’s daytime schedule. The shake-up will see Lorraine slashed from an hour to just 30 minutes from January 2026, and aired for only 30 weeks a year instead of the usual 52.

Earlier this year, Lorraine allegedly voiced her frustration when she was told the network planned to fold her programme into the last half-hour of Good Morning Britain — a move she flatly rejected, branding it “not even a possibility.” Weeks later, the official announcement of reduced airtime left her “insulted” and convinced her departure was inevitable.

“Lorraine sees it as the end,” a source told MailOnline. “She’ll honour her contract for the next year, but beyond that, there are no plans for her to stay. She will be leaving. Of course, she’ll be fine financially, but some of her long-serving staff — who have put up with her demands for years — will struggle to find another role in TV.”

ITV declined to comment, while Lorraine’s representatives have yet to respond.
