Pamela Anderson says she was “literally shaking” when she first met Liam Neeson — now she admits: “I couldn’t help but fall in love with Liam Neeson”, as her sons cheer her on from the sidelines

Pamela Anderson is enjoying a remarkable career renaissance — and at 58, she’s found herself sharing not just the screen but also undeniable sparks with Hollywood icon Liam Neeson.

The former Baywatch star is starring alongside the Northern Irish actor, 73, in the reboot of the slapstick franchise The Naked Gun. Liam plays Lt Frank Drebin Jr, while Pamela takes on the role of Beth, a woman seeking his help to catch her brother’s killer. But it’s not just the comedy moments — including a surreal montage involving a snowman — that have fans talking.

Pamela confessed she was intimidated at first, recalling, “I was literally shaking the first day I came to rehearse with him. But he’s such a gentleman, such a sweetheart, so giving and generous, you can’t help but fall in love with him.” She admitted their chemistry extended off set too, adding, “He’s silly, he has that little boy sense of humour. We’d be playing around, laughing so much the crew had to hide to keep straight faces.”

Despite her decades in the spotlight, Pamela said working with Liam was a new kind of challenge. “I feel new at this, so I really pay attention and observe him. How he conducts himself is incredible to learn from,” she explained. She also revealed she loved filming a jazz club singing scene — one she still hums in the shower.

Her two sons, Brandon and Dylan, remain her toughest critics and biggest cheerleaders. They watched an early cut of the film before her, ringing to tell her: “Mom, it’s funny. You and Liam are great.” Pamela said their approval gave her confidence, as they “don’t pull any punches.”

Reflecting on this unexpected second act, she said: “It’s a happy surprise that I get to do this again. I thought I’d just bake bread and make pickles, but I had a craving to do more, and I’m so grateful.”
