Conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel, once household names thanks to their TLC reality show, have been spotted with a newborn baby – igniting fresh speculation about whether the sisters have quietly grown their family.
The 35-year-old twins were photographed in Arden Hills, Minnesota, carefully carrying the infant in a car seat before securing the baby in the back of their Tesla. The sisters then relaxed at the back of the car boot before leaving the parking lot, sparking questions about the baby’s identity.

Rumours had already swirled last year that the pair were expecting their first child. However, Abby and Brittany – both teachers – have chosen to keep their personal lives out of the spotlight, and they have yet to confirm if the child is indeed theirs.
Abby tied the knot with US Army veteran Joshua Bowling in 2021, becoming stepmother to his daughter Isabella. At the time, she had spoken of wanting to expand the family. The twins themselves once said in a 2006 documentary: “We’re going to be moms. We haven’t thought about how being moms is going to work yet.”

The sisters first captivated the world at just six years old with their appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, before landing their own TLC series, Abby & Brittany, in 2012. The show followed them through college, adulthood, and their remarkable ability to live as two individuals in one body.
Abby and Brittany are dicephalic parapagus twins – sharing one torso and set of legs but having two heads, two hearts, two spinal cords, and two distinct brains. Their unusual anatomy means they must coordinate every single action, from walking to driving. Abby explained in 2012: “We have two licences. We both had to take the test, and we both passed.” Brittany added that while both steer, Abby controls the pedals.

Despite the challenges, the sisters have always been candid about their lives, recently sharing a viral TikTok video where a doctor explained their shared anatomy. With the new baby sighting, fans are once again left in awe and curiosity about how the extraordinary siblings may be navigating motherhood together.
