Coleen Nolan has fiercely rejected claims that she’s living a life of luxury, insisting that she is “far from being a millionaire,” despite what fans might believe. The 61-year-old TV personality, who has been a staple on Loose Women for over two decades, opened up about the financial realities she’s facing following ITV’s harsh budget cuts to the popular talk show.
In a candid conversation on her family podcast Nolan’s Uncensored, Coleen shared that many fans have been misled by online rumors about her fortune, with reports suggesting she’s worth £5 million. “Honestly, I wish to God that was true,” Coleen confessed. “I am not a millionaire – far from it! People think it’s easy for me, but they don’t see the struggle behind the scenes.”

With Loose Women now airing fewer episodes due to budget cuts, Coleen admitted she’s feeling the pinch, especially with her mortgage hanging over her. “On one hand, it’s nice to have more time off, but on the business side, I still have bills to pay,” she said, adding, “I’m filming fewer shows, and that’s impacting my income.”
In a surprising revelation, Coleen also touched on the financial burden of running her North Staffordshire farm, where she cares for 30 animals. “I didn’t realise it would be this hard,” she admitted. “And, contrary to what people think, I can’t afford staff.”

Joined by daughter Ciera and son Shane they said many fans assumed the family was ‘minted’ due to inaccurate online reports suggesting she was worth somewhere in the region of £5M.

Meanwhile Loose Women’s output has been drastically reduced from all year broadcasting to a fixed 30 week schedule (L-R: Andrea McLean, Coleen Nolan, Denise Welch and Jane Moore)
Despite the budget cuts and show adjustments, Coleen was quick to dispel rumors of tension behind the scenes at Loose Women. “We all get on – it’s like having 20 extra sisters,” she said, highlighting the close bond she shares with colleagues like Christine Lampard, Ruth Langsford, and Brenda Edwards.
As for the future of Loose Women, Coleen remains positive, acknowledging the challenges but expressing gratitude for the continued opportunity. “It could have been worse – they could’ve said, ‘See you later.’ It’s still here, and we’re still doing it.”
Coleen’s honest and heartfelt comments are a reminder that behind the glitz and glam of TV stardom, the reality is often far from what fans perceive. Full story below…
