“Don’t give him any money, please!” Katie Price’s family fear she could be conned out of thousands as her newlywed husband is exposed as a “serial liar”

Katie Price’s family are said to be deeply worried that the former glamour model could be manipulated into handing over thousands of pounds to her new husband, after explosive claims about his past began to surface.

The reality star, 47, married self-proclaimed businessman Lee Andrews in a whirlwind wedding in Dubai last month, despite warnings and red flags raised by those closest to her.

Concerns have intensified after reports emerged claiming Lee had been jailed in Dubai just weeks before the wedding, allegedly over forging his ex-girlfriend’s signature on a £200,000 loan. He is reportedly banned from leaving the UAE, yet Katie still flew back to Dubai over the weekend to reunite with him.

According to insiders, Katie’s family fear she could end up paying for everything or being talked into handing over money, at a time when she has only just begun rebuilding her finances after years of bankruptcy battles.

A source told The Sun that her loved ones are terrified she is being taken advantage of, explaining that Lee frequently claims to be a millionaire, but it remains unclear where his money actually comes from. The insider added that Katie has only recently started earning again and her family are frightened about what could happen while she remains in Dubai.

Despite the mounting concern, Katie has hit back at speculation in a defiant social media video, insisting she knows exactly what she is doing. She told fans she is “fully aware” of the allegations, adding that she sees everything being said about her husband and receives messages about it daily.

Katie stressed that she is nearly 48, not a naïve young woman, and said she has learned a lot through therapy and personal growth in recent years. She insisted she is not stupid, knows her own mind, and that her happiness is what matters most. Reassuring her followers, she said there was nothing to worry about and promised she would always update them if anything changed.

The fears surrounding Katie come against the backdrop of her well-documented money troubles. After once amassing a £45 million fortune, she was declared bankrupt in 2019 and again in 2024 over unpaid tax bills reportedly totalling more than £750,000. She remains under strict income payment orders until 2027, making any potential financial exploitation a serious concern for those around her.

Further allegations against Lee have only fuelled anxiety. Two of his ex-partners previously accused him of being a manipulative liar who targeted women for money. One woman claimed she transferred more than £120,000 to him after he convinced her of lucrative investment opportunities, even showing what she believed were live screens of her money growing.

She later admitted she has no hope of recovering the cash, saying he was incredibly convincing and that she now looks back asking herself how she let it happen. Another ex warned Katie directly to “run for the hills”, branding Lee a narcissist and manipulator.

Despite all this, Katie remains adamant she is happy and in control, telling fans she will live her life her own way. For now, her family’s fears continue to loom as she stands by her controversial new husband in Dubai.
