The youngest son of TV presenter Jeff Brazier and Jade Goody, Freddy, is about to become a father himself with his girlfriend, Holly Swinburn.
In a deeply emotional interview with The Sun, Freddy shares how difficult Mother’s Day has always been for him since Jade’s passing in 2009 from cervical cancer when he was just four years old. As he prepares for the birth of his daughter, he’s hopeful to create new memories on Mother’s Day with Isla Jade.
Freddy, whose love for his late mother is evident, also revealed that he has a tattoo of his daughter’s name, “Isla Jade,” on the back of his neck. “I think it’s lovely to incorporate the name Jade into her name as a middle name, as I’m sure there will be part of my mother in Isla,” he said. Although he admitted that getting the tattoo before Isla’s birth was “impulsive” and “really hurt,” he added that Holly “loves” it and plans to get a matching one.
As he looks forward to the arrival of his baby girl later this month, Freddy talks about the excitement of becoming a parent and the special bond he shares with his father, Jeff. “Dad’s very excited. He can’t wait to have the baby at his place and take her for walks in the countryside,” Freddy shared, adding that the baby already has a room at his dad’s house and more clothes than he does.
