Grace Adams-Short and Mikey Dalton remain the only couple still together after meeting on Big Brother – and their love story is now almost two decades long.
The pair first locked eyes in the 2006 series, which also featured Nikki Grahame and Pete Bennett. Just four months after leaving the house, they were engaged, and in 2009 they tied the knot. Today, Grace, 39, and Mikey, 42, are parents to four children – Georgiana, 13, Spencer, 10, Allegra, six, and little Atticus, born in January 2022.

Grace has revealed they plan to show their kids the episodes of Big Brother where “mummy and daddy fell in love.” But her last pregnancy wasn’t without challenges – she had to be induced early due to a rare condition called anti-C, which meant giving blood every two weeks.

While Grace became infamous on the show as “the most hated housemate ever” – even throwing a glass of water over Susie Verrico – she says the highlight will always be “meeting the daddy of our three munchkins” and the opportunities that followed, including buying property and travelling the world.

Despite admitting they “drive each other mad sometimes,” Grace says they are best friends and their bond has deepened since becoming parents. Mikey adds he still tells her every day how beautiful she is.

Now, nearly 20 years on, they’re more in love than ever – even if time together is rare. “I leave for work early, then it’s straight into family life,” Mikey says. Still, both agree that meeting on Big Brother was fate.
