Katie Price’s new husband Lee Andrews has appeared to take a savage swipe at one of her former partners, describing him as a “little man” while praising himself as the man who will now stand up for the former glamour model.
The businessman, who married Katie earlier this year after a whirlwind romance, shared a pointed message on Instagram that many fans believed was aimed at her most recent ex, JJ Slater.
Posting to his Instagram Stories, Lee wrote that Katie had gone from being with someone who would not defend her to someone who would fiercely stand by her side.
He wrote: “When she realised she went from a little ‘man’ that would NOT defend her in any room to a Man who will look you dead in the eyes and say ‘go ahead and say some disrespectful s*** about her and see what happens…’.”
The post quickly sparked speculation among fans about which ex he was referring to, particularly given the timing of his marriage to Katie shortly after her split from JJ.
Katie seemed thrilled by the public show of loyalty and quickly reposted Lee’s message on her own Instagram Stories, writing simply: “That’s my man @wesleeandrews.”
The couple’s relationship has moved at lightning speed. They tied the knot in January 2026 after knowing each other for only a matter of weeks — and less than a month after Katie confirmed that she and JJ Slater had ended their nearly two-year relationship.
However, Lee later denied that his post was aimed at anyone in particular when approached for comment. He insisted the message had been misunderstood.
“I didn’t call anyone anything, there is no mention of any name. You have it wrong,” he said.
Katie and JJ first began dating in February 2024 and their relationship appeared serious, with the pair reportedly discussing the possibility of starting a family together. But by early 2026, their romance had come to an abrupt end.
Despite the breakup, Katie has made it clear that her hopes of having another child are still very much alive — and now those plans involve her new husband.
The 47-year-old has spoken openly about wanting to start a family with Lee, while he has hinted that they plan to begin trying for a baby as early as April.
Lee even shared a video of Katie holding a pregnancy test on Instagram, captioning the clip: “Trying for a baby next month.”
The footage came from a YouTube video in which Katie took a pregnancy test to prove she was not pregnant after rumours began swirling online.
Speculation had erupted after Katie wrote a bold Instagram caption seemingly aimed at Lee’s ex-partner Alana Percival. In the post she told critics to simply watch their success unfold, writing: “Just enjoy watching us build our empire as I’m having his child.”
This is not the first time the couple have hinted at expanding their family. In earlier posts, Lee described them as the “perfect couple, soon to be triple” and even shared a photo of a baby bottle alongside the question: “What are your plans for 2026?”
Before meeting Lee, Katie had been candid about her struggles to conceive. Her Channel 4 documentary Katie Price: Making Babies followed her attempts to have a child through IVF with former fiancé Carl Woods.
She has previously said she would be open to IVF or even surrogacy if it meant fulfilling her dream of having another baby.
