In an interview on Good Housekeeping’s My Life In A Biscuit Tin podcast, Martin shared his remarkable experience with laser eye surgery, stating that he had a full refractive lens procedure. The operation involved removing his lenses and replacing them with new ones — and the results have left James in awe. “I can see round corners now. It’s scary!” he exclaimed, showcasing his newfound supernatural vision.

James’ vision has become so sharp that his staff are now in constant amazement. “I can see veins on a tree from a mile away. I can even read without glasses. It’s incredible,” he admitted. But, as James candidly revealed, his newfound ability to notice everything has its challenges, especially for those working with him. His colleagues are now “scared” at how sharp his sight has become. “I can see everything!” he chuckled, referring to his impeccable ability to spot the tiniest of details that others might miss.
