Katie Price has reportedly been warned she could be asked to leave her swanky £4,500-a-month rental after neighbours raised early fears that the plush property could slide into chaos reminiscent of her infamous “Mucky Mansion”.
The mother-of-five, 47, has only been living in the converted barn near Horsham, West Sussex, for a matter of months. But residents say concerns were sparked after piles of bin bags, debris and household junk were spotted dumped outside the three-bedroom new-build.
Locals fear the mess could attract rats and quickly become a wider problem for surrounding homes. One insider claimed Katie needs to tread carefully, warning that she does not own the property and must keep it to a high standard. Leaving rubbish outside, they said, is not something the owners would tolerate and treating the exterior land like a dumping ground could have serious consequences.
Aerial images taken earlier this week showed unsightly rubbish strewn around the outside and dumped at the rear of the home. However, within 24 hours, fresh pictures revealed the mess had been cleared away.
The property — which comes complete with equestrian facilities — is understood to be owned by a syndicate of developers known locally for transforming derelict farm buildings into high-end rural homes. Neighbours say the firm has a strong reputation and expects its properties to be maintained accordingly.
The warnings come after Katie was forced to sell her original Sussex home — dubbed the “Mucky Mansion” — following financial difficulties and a second bankruptcy declaration in March 2024. She had hoped to redevelop the sprawling property as part of a TV makeover series, but it was eventually sold last year, with Katie receiving none of the proceeds as the money was swallowed up by outstanding debts.
Speaking previously about the mansion, Katie admitted she had nothing but bad memories there and insisted moving on would mark a new chapter in her life.
She has also had a turbulent personal few weeks. Earlier this month, Katie split from boyfriend JJ Slater after nearly two years together, reportedly realising she could not see a long-term future with the former reality TV star. She later broke her silence by posting a string of cryptic quotes about soulmates and relationships on social media, hinting she is once again searching for a fresh start.
