Katie Price is relaunching her music career after scoring a No.1 dance chart hit while also “giving up” the search for Lee Andrews

Katie Price is throwing herself back into  music amid the chaos surrounding her missing husband Lee Andrews — revealing she is officially returning to the recording studio after the shock chart success of her dance track I Got U.

Speaking on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, alongside her sister Sophie, the former glamour model excitedly announced: “I’m in the studio tomorrow, recording a new original track, not a cover. So I’m excited!”

The 48-year-old then teased fans about the sound of the upcoming release, hinting that the song carries serious pop diva energy. She explained: “I think it’s… not that I sound like her… it’s very like Rihanna-y!”

The surprise announcement comes just months after Katie stunned the music world when her old 2017 dance single I Got U unexpectedly shot to No.1, beating major chart names including Olivia DeanPerrie Edwards and Dizzee Rascal in downloads and sales.

At the time, her representative said the success had been a “dream come true” for Katie, who has long insisted she loves performing despite years of public mockery over her music ambitions.

While she kept details about the new single secret, insiders believe the emotional drama surrounding Lee’s disappearance could heavily inspire the track.

Katie’s fourth marriage has spiralled into headline chaos over recent weeks after she publicly declared Lee a missing person when he suddenly stopped contacting her while supposedly trying to leave Dubai for the UK.

The drama intensified after Lee’s social media account appeared to follow another woman online despite claims he had no access to his phone. The woman, named Mari Sol, reportedly describes herself online as both a “biker babe” and a “navy veteran” — leaving Katie said to be furious and heartbroken during her birthday week.

In the middle of the turmoil, Katie shared an emotional quote online that read: “You can’t break a woman who has survived family issues, financial struggles, career pressure, stress, heartbreak and betrayal, yet still chose not to give up.”

The message continued: “A woman like that does not fall easily. She rebuilds herself again and again, no matter how many times life tries to shake her.”

Despite the ongoing mystery, Katie now appears determined to channel the pain into a fresh chapter — and possibly the most personal music of her career yet
