Kelly Osbourne hits back at cruel taunts from trolls who claimed she “looks like a d.e.a.d body” after losing weight while grieving the loss of her father, Ozzy

Kelly Osbourne has furiously hit back at online trolls after being subjected to a wave of cruel abuse over her appearance – all while still navigating the heartbreak of losing her father, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne.

The 41-year-old reality star and singer was pictured sitting front row at the Royal Ascot Millinery Collective event at Claridge’s during London Fashion Week. But instead of praise for her polished look, Kelly was met with a torrent of vicious comments targeting her recent weight loss.

Despite previously denying she has used weight-loss injections, Kelly has continued to face relentless speculation. One particularly cruel social media user even claimed she “looked like a dead body” in recent photos.

Sharing the sickening remark with her followers, Kelly did not hold back. She wrote: “Literally can’t believe how disgusting some human beings are! No one deserves this sort of abuse!”

In another post, as she continued to defend herself, she added: “This too shall pass, but like, holy f**k.”

Alongside her response, Kelly reposted supportive messages from fans who slammed the “vile” and “heartless” attacks, praising her strength during what has been an unimaginably painful year.

The backlash comes just months after the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away at 76 in July 2025. The Black Sabbath icon died at home, surrounded by wife Sharon and his children, just weeks after performing a final farewell show with his bandmates at Villa Park in Birmingham.

Kelly has been open about how deeply the loss has affected her. Seven months after Ozzy’s passing, she shared a moving reflection on grief, writing: “Some grief doesn’t end. It changes shape. It becomes a weight you learn to carry, the ache woven into your day. Making it through doesn’t mean leaving it behind. It means finding strength to live and love and keep going even with forever resting heavily on your heart…”

In the aftermath of his death, Kelly revealed she had been sleeping in her late father’s bed alongside her mum Sharon, struggling to adjust to life without him.

Her battle with body image has also been long documented. Speaking on The Osbournes podcast last year, Kelly recalled a brutal encounter early in her career when a  TV executive told her she was “too fat for TV” and insisted she would only succeed if she lost weight. He told her she wasn’t a movie star, but “could be one if you lost weight.”

Now, as she continues to mourn her dad while facing public scrutiny over her body, Kelly’s message is clear: grief is heavy enough without strangers adding cruelty to the load.
