Mary Berry may be 90, but the TV legend has insisted she’ll never go under the knife – even after a cheeky remark from her granddaughter about her appearance.
The former Great British Bake Off judge, who has been a fixture on British television for more than half a century, has always embraced her natural look. Speaking in a past interview, Mary revealed she’s content with the face she sees in the mirror. “I’m quite happy with my face; I’ve got loads of wrinkles!” she said, adding that she has “no wish” for Botox or facelifts.

She explained her firm stance by saying surgeons had more important things to do: “Our surgeons are busy enough. Let them do proper jobs.”
But Mary admitted she had once been left startled by her granddaughter’s blunt honesty. She recalled the little girl sitting on her lap and pointing at her collarbone area, which had become slightly saggy with age. “My granddaughter said, ‘Granny! You’ve got two holes!’” Mary laughed, admitting the swipe stuck with her.

Away from the cameras, Mary has been happily married to Paul Hunnings since 1966. The couple share three children, Thomas, Annabel, and William. Heartbreak struck in 1989 when their son William tragically died in a car accident as a teenager – a loss that Mary has carried with her ever since.

Despite that pain, Mary and Paul’s marriage has stood the test of time, although the baking icon once confessed she hadn’t been entirely loyal at the start. In a candid revelation, Mary admitted she was seeing another boyfriend in a different city during the early days of her romance with Paul – along with “several” others.
