Saturday night’s Britain’s Got Talent finale had viewers buzzing — but not all for the reasons you might think. The long-awaited Mis-Teeq reunion, their first live performance together in 22 years, left some fans thrilled… and others fuming.
Alesha Dixon, Sabrina Washington, and Su-Elise Nash hit the stage for a medley of their classic hits, including Scandalous and One Night Stand, ahead of their upcoming Wembley Arena show. Alesha even left her judging seat temporarily, with daughters Azura and Anaya spotted proudly dancing in the audience.
But the social media reaction quickly split.
‘Only Alesha Seems to Be Singing Live’
One of the biggest controversies? Fans claimed only Alesha appeared to sing live, leaving Sabrina and Su-Elise seemingly miming along.
“Dunno the other lasses’ names but they look like they’re miming. Only looks like Alesha is singing live to me,” tweeted one disappointed viewer.
Another agreed: “Alesha was the only one who sang live. The other two mimed the [bleep] out of it.”
“Imagine apart from Alesha rapping live the rest is mimed! Should have stayed separated!” chimed in a third.
Fans Complain It Felt Like ‘The Alesha Show’
Other viewers were frustrated by what they saw as Alesha hogging the spotlight.
“Sabrina should’ve been singing those main parts as she’s the actual singer,” one wrote. “I was really looking forward to this, but it felt like Alesha center stage and the others as backing singers. They deserve so much better.”

“Alesha just made that all about her,” added another. “Felt more like the Alesha show than Mis-Teeq.”
The debate raged online: fans argued the reunion should have spotlighted the group’s original chemistry — not Alesha’s star power.
Still, Some Fans Were Overjoyed
Not everyone was upset. Many viewers celebrated the trio being back together.
“All I have to say is Alesha Dixon, you are out of this world!” one fan gushed.
“Mis-Teeq smashed that! Alesha was phenomenal,” wrote another.
“My queens are back! Absolutely overjoyed, welcome back,” added a longtime fan.
Su-Elise herself shared her excitement, tweeting: “Still pinching myself! What an incredible night. Thank you @bgt and thank you to everyone showing us so much love. 20+ years later, was such a special moment.”
While the internet remains divided over the performance, one thing is clear: after two decades apart, the Mis-Teeq reunion has reignited passion, nostalgia, and debate among fans — proving some things never lose their sparkle.
