After years of silence, tension, and very public fallout, Peter Andre has finally spoken — and his message to ex-wife Katie Price is surprisingly simple: are you truly happy?
The singer, 53, addressed Katie’s shock marriage to Lee Andrews, which took place in Dubai earlier this year just 10 days after the pair first met — a move that left fans stunned and sparked widespread concern among those close to her.

Despite the controversy surrounding the relationship, Peter made it clear he has no interest in judging. Speaking candidly, he revealed that his only question to Katie is whether the relationship genuinely brings her happiness. He explained that if she is truly happy, then that’s all that matters, adding that it’s not his place to tell anyone what they should or shouldn’t be doing.
It marks a strikingly calm tone from the former couple, whose relationship once played out under intense media scrutiny. Peter and Katie first met on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004 before marrying in 2005 and welcoming two children — Junior, now 20, and Princess, 18. However, their fairytale quickly unravelled, ending in a dramatic split and divorce in 2009, followed by a bitter feud that lasted more than a decade.
Now, in a twist few expected, the pair have finally called a truce.

The reconciliation recently took a surreal turn when Katie introduced her new husband to Peter during a FaceTime call — their first interaction in nine years. Katie later admitted the moment felt bizarre, recalling how she found herself saying hello to her ex-husband while sitting beside her new one, questioning what was even happening.
While concerns continue to swirl around Lee — including claims about his past relationships, finances, and business credentials — Katie has remained firm in her belief that he is “the real deal.”
She has also reflected on her romantic history, saying she has only ever truly been in love three times: with Peter, with former partner Dane Bowers, and now with Lee.
The timing of Peter’s comments comes just weeks after the former couple confirmed they had ended their long-running feud, even reconnecting on social media. In a joint statement, they emphasised their commitment to moving forward positively and focusing on providing a calm, supportive environment for their children.
They also agreed that neither would speak negatively about the other going forward — a significant shift after years of public clashes.
Behind the scenes, sources suggest their children played a key role in bringing them back together, encouraging both parents to finally draw a line under the past.
Now, with tensions eased and communication reopened, Peter’s simple question — are you genuinely happy? — may carry more weight than ever.
