Venezuela Fury’s 16th birthday party and wedding to Noah Price was meant to be all about the young bride — but insiders say her famous aunt-by-family, former Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague, may have stolen some of the spotlight.
The bash, held near Tyson and Paris Fury’s £5million Morecambe mansion, drew 400 guests, and Molly-Mae, 27, pregnant with her second child, was inundated with selfies and requests from her legion of teenage fans. One source said: “It was a lot for Molly-Mae, but they are Tommy’s family, so she didn’t mind… all eyes were on her for much of the evening.”
Venezuela, with 800,000 followers, reportedly felt the pressure, given Molly-Mae’s 16million-strong social media presence and Forbes 30 Under 30 status. A source added: “Venezuela would love to reach the same levels as Molly-Mae, but they have completely different aesthetics.”
To avoid overshadowing the bride, Molly-Mae opted for a low-key black lace jumpsuit covering her baby bump and even shielded daughter Bambi from cameras at the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Venezuela remained conscious of her social media presence, hiding the location of her £30,000 Marbella honeymoon, which — along with £5million from her parents — kick-started her married life with Noah. Photos show the couple walking hand-in-hand along the beach, blissfully enjoying their private getaway.
A source said: “You just can’t even begin to compare them… they are in different leagues. Molly-Mae would never dream of sharing her house on social media because she’s learned that crazy fans turn up.”
For now, with Molly-Mae almost 3,000 miles away, Venezuela can enjoy her honeymoon and first home — a modest two-bedroom caravan gifted by her parents — without the influence of social media competition looming over her special moment.
