“Our Family Is Complete” – Olympians Laura & Jason Kenny Welcome Baby Girl After Heartbreaking Losses

Laura and Jason Kenny, Britain’s most decorated Olympic cycling couple, have announced the joyful arrival of their third child — a baby girl named Lilian Joyce Kenny.

Born on May 4th, 2025 at 10:44am, Lilian weighs a healthy 8.0lbs. The couple shared the happy news on Instagram, posting adorable photos of their daughter wrapped in a soft pink blanket embroidered with “Lily,” flanked by her two big brothers, Albie and Monty, in matching jumpers bearing their names.

“Three’s the magic number,” they wrote. “There was only ever one name we had in mind for a daughter — a mix of both our nans’ names.”

This arrival is especially emotional for the couple, who have faced heartbreaking fertility struggles. In 2021, Laura suffered a miscarriage at nine weeks. Then, in early 2022, she underwent emergency surgery following an ectopic pregnancy that resulted in the loss of one of her fallopian tubes.

“Scared doesn’t even come close,” Laura shared at the time. “Life pushed me to an unbearable limit.”

Now, after years of pain and uncertainty, their dream of a complete family has finally come true.

Messages of love and congratulations have poured in from fellow Olympians including Denise LewisSarah Storey, and Rebecca Adlington, all celebrating the safe arrival of baby Lilian.
