Coronation Street exposes Theo Silverton’s domestic abuse in dramatic fashion next week, as another local resident catches him in the act.

As the net closes in on the evil villain, Todd’s loved ones come together to figure out their all-important next move. But can they save him before he leaves Weatherfield for good?

“Theo has been making Todd’s life a misery behind closed doors for months now,” begins our Corrie insider. “But the mask has slipped and his shocking behaviour has been revealed.

“It may be too little, too late though, as Theo is taking Todd away to start a new life in Belfast…”

In this week’s scenes, George Shuttleworth rumbles Theo and shares his thoughts with Christina Boyd and Summer Spellman.

As the story continues next week, they then tell Glenda Shuttleworth and Sarah Platt their horrifying theory that Theo is abusing Todd.

When Todd walks in and realises he’s the topic of discussion, he is quick to defend his partner, but George isn’t buying it.

It’s trickier to convince Gary Windass, seeing as he and Theo are close pals, but the scales fall from his eyes when Sarah arrives armed with evidence against his mate.

Gary then gets further proof when he accompanies Todd to the flat and becomes the second character to catch Theo shouting abuse.

“Theo rails at Todd when he hears his key in the door – but he has no idea that he isn’t alone,” explains our spy. “Gary has seen his friend for what he truly is, so wastes no time in sacking him from the builder’s yard, leaving him with a stern warning to watch his back…”

Meanwhile, concerned George hands Todd an escape bag, containing everything he needs to flee his terrifying partner when he’s ready. Todd is left questioning whether it is finally time to break free, but it isn’t long before Theo finds the secret holdall.

Todd thinks on his feet and makes out that it’s a present from George ahead of their fresh start in Ireland, but it remains to be seen whether Theo is convinced…

“As Theo heads to the Bistro to confront George, Sarah and Summer are horrified to learn about Todd’s Belfast plans,” continues our source. “They are desperate to try to change his mind, and George also questions his motives for moving away. But sadly, Todd changes the subject and won’t listen.”

Will Todd accept help from his nearest and dearest and find the courage to leave Theo? Or will he be forced to say a sad goodbye to his friends?
