THE SILENCE BROKEN: EVA’S HEARTBREAKING DISCOVERY AS MEGAN’S DARK HOLD OVER WILL IS FINALLY EXPOSED

Coronation Street has shared details of a sad new scene in which Eva Price tells Ben Driscoll the news that athletics coach Megan Walsh has been grooming his teenage son, Will Driscoll.

For the past few months, the ITV soap has been tackling a dark storyline that has seen Will being exploited by Megan. Sam Blakeman recently uncovered the truth and has since been bullied by Megan into keeping quiet, though it looks like he might be about to tell all.

In a scene set to air on Wednesday 18 March, a hurt and angry Eva studies a photo of Will and Megan as a bleary-eyed and hungover Ben enters the room. Bracing herself, a tortured Eva prepares to break the news to a stunned Ben that Megan’s been grooming Will.

“There’s something I need to tell you,” Eva says in the scene, which can be viewed below. “Oh, babe, there’s no easy way to say this, and I can’t dress it up. Megan’s been grooming Will. They’ve been sleeping together.”

In scenes set to air next week, Eva tries to have a chat with Sam after Nina tells her that he hasn’t been himself lately. Before a concerned Eva can get to him, Megan shows up at the café, and the terrified youngster makes a run for it.

After Sam is taken to the hospital in an ambulance, Leanne questions him about what has been worrying him lately, asking him to open up about whatever is troubling him when Eva walks into the room.

A recent teaser trailer suggested that Leanne will discover the horrifying truth after trying to get to the bottom of how terrified Sam is. Has Sam told Leanne and Eva the truth, or have they found out another way?

Either way, we know that Eva, Ben, Toyah, Ollie and Leanne will have a crisis meeting next week, and the Driscolls will attempt to protect their son and gather evidence against Megan.

Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
